In this theory-based class with a demo we introduce you to the world of Keune Hair Color. Get an in-depth understanding of how Keune Color is designed to work and who it’s designed to be used on.

Class Technique: Technique 5- Color Melt

What is Color Melt? Technique merging families of colors into each other.
Think of how the leaves turn in nature. Those are the most complimentary colors. This is how a color melt should look.

Who is it for? Anyone wanting a lived in look going from dark to light within the same tonalities

Why choose it? Can be used with colors such as 6.38, 7.38, 8.38, 1038 all in the same foil or colors that are more than 2 levels apart.

When to use it? Same as above

The Hattori Hanzo Class Barbering Across Boundaries - In this class world renowned educator and barber Sean Casey will teach you strategies to conquer every hair type. Sean will touch on everything from shear over comb to bald fades. Come have a good time!

Past positions include: Cosmetology Department Chairman for Remington College in Columbia, SC., Associate Director of Education for Namaste’ Laboratories, Blue Island, IL, Director of Professional Education for Carson Products Company, Savannah, GA., and Director of Education and Technical Product Development for Johnson Products Company, Chicago, IL She has been responsible for training technical staff, managing the Research Testing Salons and Consumer Communications Hot lines.

Her industry product development contributions and marketing efforts have included the Sensitive by Nature brand, Gentle Treatment for Gray Hair, Bantu Yellow Out and various product improvements for Precise, Bantu and Ultra Sheen, Namaste’ Professional, Organic Root Stimulator and Dark & Lovely brands. As a platform artist and lecturer, Ms. Griffis Browning has taught and managed trade shows and education programs from Los Angeles, London to Lagos; Boston, Bahamas, to Botswana with stops Montreal, Trinidad and Paris among many other locations.

A member of the Career Educators Alliance, she is a licensed instructor in South Carolina and has conducted continuing education classes in Omaha, Nebraska and for SCSCA in South Carolina. She is a Methods of Teaching provider in the state of South Carolina. The culmination of corporate and salon experiences gives her particular insight for teachers, managers, stylists and students of the beauty industry. A passionate professional and industry expert, Lenita will leave you with visual impressions to help you connect the similarities and differences between hair types, textures and impart simple, practical techniques for proper hair care and chemical clarity regarding salon product use. Her commitment, integrity and mentoring spirit propel her to be a life long learner, and facilitator of learning for others.

Milady Educator Class - The Action-Packed Classroom- Sometimes classrooms can become quite boring! We’ve all seen students looking uninterested, with their eyes glazed over and heads propped up with their hands. When students are not involved or are unable to move around during class and engage in the learning process, they become bored. During this session you will discover techniques to keep your classrooms action packed. You will learn how to kick start your class in the morning, incorporate powerful engagers throughout the day and end your day with action packed closing activities, all of which will help keep your students engaged and involved in the learning process!
